Leading sire Not A Single Doubt with another Golden Slipper contender

There is no denying that Not A Single Doubts progeny have it all: class, precocity and versatility and he is a mainstay in Australia’s top 10 sires. This is also why his 28 lots at the 2019 Magic Millions Sale recorded an average sale price of $284,286 with a top price of $875,000. Proving to be one of Australia’s most reliable sources of early runners, tellingly two-year-olds, supply one third of his stakes winners.

It comes as no surprise that following the weekends results,  Not A Single Doubt may have another Golden Slipper contender in 2YO filly Rotator trained by Chris Waller. Rotator came second by a nose to winner Amercement in the Group 3 Widden Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday February 2, coming from a tricky position on the turn to almost get the win. It was reported after the race that she just had no luck at all throughout the race, and it was an amazing finish to get second on debut. Watch the replay below:

This puts Rotator in serious contention for the 2YO Group 1 Golden Slipper to be held at Rosehill Gardens on March 23  alongside Dubious, another 2YO by  Not A Single Doubt. 2YO colt Dubious is a stakes winner, has two wins and one second from his three race starts, and has already earned over $490 000 in prize money as a young 2YO. Most recently he came second to Exiliherates in the $2M Magic Millions Classic, making him a leading contender to take out the Golden Slipper in March.
